About Laurie

Laurie is a Board-Certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) who believes the path to mental health and wellness begins with safe, authentic connection. She approaches her clients with curiosity and aims to empower them to explore a variety of modalities to achieve health and wellness. She believes that true healing occurs when we are given a safe space to experience vulnerability and get honest with our internal world.

An integrative approach combines conventional western medicine with complementary therapies aimed at supporting the mind, body, and spirit. Laurie emphasizes the importance of sleep, nutrition, lifestyle, self-love, and healthy relationships when seeking health and wellness.

Laurie has worked as a Nurse Practitioner since 2017. She spent her first 2 years working with adults in inpatient psychiatry at Hennepin Healthcare and the last 5 years at Aris Clinic, working with children and adolescents. She is certified to treat individuals across the lifespan and strives to use a combination of modalities while individuals gain self-awareness and skills to manage emotional regulation. She is passionate about understanding symptoms related to mood, anxiety, substance use, attachment, and self-confidence.

When Laurie is not working, she enjoys spending time with her family, hiking, biking, yoga, theatre, and all types of music.
